Henri Rousseau, The Snake Charmer, 1907
A dark figure plays a flute under the moon while snakes slide out of the trees to listen. Rousseau painted it for the mother of his friend, the painter Robert Delaunay, inspired by the stories she brought back from her travels in India. It's one of his strangest and most hypnotic jungle scenes, and it now hangs in the Musée d'Orsay in Paris.
The painting is printed on the back with a gallery-style label, and the Addition Archive wordmark sits on the front.
