Miro

$18,500.00

Miro by Francesco Bolis for Driade

Francesco Bolis, a seasoned photographer specializing in architectural and interior imagery, has gained recognition for his distinct focus on encapsulating the essence of architectural structures, interior spaces, urban landscapes, and industrial environments. His career has been distinguished by a sustained and fruitful collaboration with Driade, a renowned design company, where he has not only curated graphic design and photographic projects but has also adroitly integrated his artistic vision with functional design. Over the course of his illustrious career, Bolis has diligently documented a diverse array of subjects, encompassing extensive travel, portraiture, architectural masterpieces, sculptural works, and installation art.

In 2013, Bolis ventured into the realm of design with his inaugural project, Miro, a mirror-folding screen conceived for Driade. This innovative creation seamlessly harmonizes his photographic prowess with the realm of functional design, deftly translating the visual medium into tangible objects. Bolis's distinguished journey finds a compelling connection with the historic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele in Milan, an iconic emblem of the city's architectural heritage since its inception in 1865 by the visionary architect Giuseppe Mengoni. Bolis's work, exemplified by Miro, resonates with the enduring spirit of innovation and artistry that has long been associated with this legendary space.
