Materials Layered raw clay bodies, unglazed with a textured finish. Includes a mirrored light bulb and 6-foot CSA-approved wiring.
Dimensions Approx. 6” H x 10” W
The Check Pendant utilizes a dual-clay construction to achieve its graphic pattern. The exterior remains unglazed, highlighting a raw, sandy surface and a natural aesthetic.
When lit, the included mirrored bulb directs light upward into the interior of the shade, creating a soft ambient glow. The contrast between the layered clay bodies and the textured finish emphasizes the structural nature of the hand-thrown form.
Each work is handmade by Meg Hübert in her Vancouver studio. Variations in the pattern and clay texture are inherent to the process, ensuring no two pieces are exactly alike.
