The Cloud Pendant is an organic, hand-sculpted form that explores the natural translucency of porcelain. Its irregular, undulating surface is designed to mimic the soft volume of a cloud, creating a distinct silhouette from every angle.
When illuminated, the porcelain body emits a warm, ethereal glow, with varying thicknesses in the clay creating a subtle play of light and shadow. Strategic perforations in the surface allow for focused pinpoints of light, adding a rhythmic detail to the overall composition.
Each work is individually sculpted by Meg Hübert in her Vancouver studio. Due to the hand-formed nature of the piece, the specific contours and light distribution of each pendant are entirely unique.
