Meg Hübert

Marshmallow Pendant 2025

Materials Hand-thrown porcelain with a white gloop glaze. Includes 6-foot CSA-approved wiring.

Dimensions Approx. 10” DIA x 8” H

The Marshmallow Pendant is a tactile, sculptural form defined by a thick, reactive "gloop" glaze. The white glaze varies in density across the porcelain surface, creating a dripped, fluid aesthetic that resembles smoothed beach stones or weathered shells when unlit.

When illuminated, the porcelain body and glaze reveal a hidden depth of color. Light glows through the varying layers of the application, emitting soft hues of pink, orange, and lavender. The irregular thickness of the gloop glaze ensures a rhythmic distribution of light, highlighting the organic contours of the hand-thrown form.

Each work is handmade by Meg Hübert in her Vancouver studio. Due to the nature of the glaze, the drip patterns and light translucency are unique to every piece.

Note: This item is made to order with an approximate 6–8 week lead time.

Terms & Conditions

ADDITION brings together resonant works by artists and designers whose practices span geographies, generations, and disciplines. Their ideas and objects sit at the meeting point of material culture, memory, and contemporary imagination.

From our home in Vancouver’s Armoury / Design District, we cultivate thoughtful encounters between creators and collectors, between space and narrative, and between the worlds we inherit and the ones we shape. Upcoming programming extends outward to Mexico City and Lima, Peru.

We acknowledge that ADDITION stands on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations, whose enduring stewardship and cultural presence continue to guide the creative communities who gather here.
