Available in a range of colors, textures, and dimensions, this sculptural light can be composed with one to four ceramic panels and adapted for wall or ceiling mounting, either as a singular piece or arranged in multiples. Custom configurations and surface mounted applications are available, with hardwired or plug in options including an inline switch. Custom cord lengths and finishes may also be specified.
Each work is handmade by Meg Hübert in her Vancouver studio. Subtle variations in glaze, surface, and tone are inherent to the process and are celebrated as part of the work. No two pieces are exactly alike, and these nuances give each composition its own quiet character.
This version features four panels finished in muted tones with softly textured glazes. Mounted over a flush mount light source, the panels sit slightly off the surface, creating the impression of a floating composition while casting a gentle, diffused halo of light.
